I hesitated way too long to join. This gym is very welcoming to any newcomer. Everyone is friendly and wants to help. It’s a great way to get in shape, make friends, gain confidence, and beat up bad guys. You’ll find people with all different backgrounds, income levels, race, & age in this gym. The instructors are the best in the area. I highly recommend TPC to anyone looking for a new way to workout.

TPC is a family for me. Everyone is very supportive, especially when you're having a bad day on the mats. Truly a WORLD CLASS level BJJ school tucked away in Beaumont. Promotions are truly earned at TPC and that's one of the many why I continue to train there. I can't see myself training at any other school. New students are always welcomed and treated well by the current students. If you're considering checking it out or joining, I hope to see you on the mats!

I’ve been training at Texas Punishment Crew for over a year and I’ve loved every minute of it. From the moment I walked in the door everyone was super friendly. There’s so much experience on the mats and all the coaches are incredibly helpful. You’re pushed to do better every time you go in. I never thought I’d be doing something like BJJ and now they couldn’t get rid of me if they wanted to.

A great group of people! I've been training here almost 6 years now, and have met some of the best people. If you're a serious competitor, or a hobbyist, like myself, there is a place for you here. There are 6 black belts, and at least 2 on the mats all the time. TPC has become my "happy place", and my second family. Come give them a try!

The roots of this gym go back to Royce Gracie himself. TPC's founder, Pat Hardy, was the first black belt that Royce Gracie ever promoted. I started at TPC not knowing that fact, but since I learned that I have found pride in knowing I am training on mats with such great lineage. Also learning that this gym has produced so many people that have medaled in competitions at the highest stage (IBJJF Worlds) has blown my mind. I casually trained here for several years before getting pretty serious about the training and starting to do some competitions myself. The level of detail that Jason and the other instructors provide is unmatched when compared to other gyms that I have attended. The day my kids are old enough to join the gym they will be training on these mats. As a father who trains, I understand that the best gift that I can give my children is the ability for them to take care of themselves when daddy is not around. TPC and the Kid Hawks program is what will give me comfort as a father knowing my kids will be able to defend themselves if needed. This gym and the people inside of it have helped me become a better person. I will continue with this gym until the day I die. So if you happen to drop in I can't wait to see you.

Awesome group to train with!!! World class athletes and coaches. They have produced mutiple champions on a world stage. I also love the ability to walk in and feel at home. The two main black belts, Jason and Randall, always have a smile on their faces and always willing to teach. Through their leadership, the rest of the gym mirrors. Everybody is super friendly and accommodating. Can't go wrong at this gym!

Been training here for a little over a year - hands down, one of the best decisions I've made for myself. All of the instructors are super awesome and very personable. They genuinely care about each student's progress, and to me, that goes a long way. The kid instructors are awesome, too. Each time I come in for the adult class, I usually catch the tail end of the kids program and they always look like they're having a blast. Overall, great atmosphere with tons of mutual respect. I always recommend TPC, any chance I get.

TPC has an awesome, friendly, and knowledgeable crew that is always willing to help. Everybody starts out timid and nervous, but Jason, Randall, and the gang help to ease each student into a fun and coachable atmosphere. Everyone says it: “I wish I started earlier.”

I had the privilege of visiting TPC BJJ for their advanced class during my time in Beaumont. Everyone there was incredibly welcoming and friendly - black belts, students, and Professor! It's impressive to be welcomed into an unfamiliar academy with such warmth and respect; they made me feel so secure that I felt like part of their family right away. What is truly remarkable, though, is that this gym has been standing strong on its pillar since 30 years ago! And not only can you enjoy a sense of community here, but I can tell it'll also become your second home as soon as you step inside. Needless to say, dropping by again when I'm back in town will definitely happen.

The coolest BJJ gym around. The atmosphere is perfect with how nice everyone is. Even with the kindness from every person they can still be hard on you to push yourself. I cant even explain all the great things about this place.

TPC is fantastic. The 5:45 AM class is perfect for professionals or business owners who work late and can only fit morning workouts into their schedule. There's lots of camaraderie and the technical instruction is excellent. I can't say enough good things about TPC.

The greatest attribute of this team is the number of incredible coaches leading this team. They’re all extremely patient to ensure everyone learns and has a great experience with each and every class.
Their executive program is also tailored made for those professionals that want to get a good workout in before going to the office. Perfectly timed from 5:45-6:45am Tuesday-Friday, it’s so convenient to get 2-4 classes in a week.

Been training here for about 1.5 years. Started because of a requirement for work. I truly wish I had started years and years ago. Even as an older man, I feel better, and slimming up, and more flexible in my lower back. But more importantly, the people are very supportive! Every instructor truly cares about your health and well being. They never talk down to you or make you regret coming to class.

I’m really new to BJJ and was nervous to get started but I have not regretted my decision to get started here at TPC! There’s a lot of skill and talent that come from here but yet everyone is so humble and is ready to help teach you!

My favorite class is the executive class at 5:45 am! I am able to go get an hour roll in before work and leave feeling rejuvenated ready to conquer my day!

I would definitely recommend getting signed on with TPC!

Came in from another school after moving to SETX from the Midwest and have felt welcomed since the first day at TPC. Legit instructors, fantastic kids program, great mixture of hobbyists and competitors, and most importantly a safe environment to train. My wife used to get upset when I trained during hours my kids were awake and not helping out… TPC understands this and offers a loophole… 5:45am class four days a week! 😁

This place is amazing! All the coaches are fantastic with the children. My son has been going for over two years now and he absolutely loves his coaches and enjoy learning BJJ. Kid Hawk BJJ comes highly recommend if you are looking somewhere for your child to thrive and find themselves!

My son has participated in the kids class for a couple years now and we love it. The coaches have no tollerance for bullying inside and out of class and help your child prepare for any sticky situation they may come across by giving them the knowledge, confidence, and experience on self defense or taking appropriate actions. Coach Chris is patient and is a natural with kids, we are all like one big family. He's genuinely concerned with the child's well-being and makes sure they hold themselves to a higher standard on and off the mat. It's been a great outlet for my non-sports loving son, here he gets to exercise his mind and body. I was exceptionally impressed when a child confided in the coach that he was physically bullied at school once, coach Chris had the child show him what happened and taught him what to do the next time. He then used the entire next month talking to and teaching the kids how to use self defense based on what that kids bully did (without calling the him out of course). Karate and taekwando can give kids a false sense of security, but Jujitsu works every part of the body and prepares them for realistic situations. I also think their prices and flexibility are awesome. If I could give more stars, I would. TPC fans for life. The adult classes look fun too, there's a good deal of both women and men, and once again, they all seem like one big family ready to help eachother.

Joining Texas Punishment Crew in March 2024 was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Just five months later, I stepped onto the competition mats for the first time and walked away with a bronze in No Gi and a gold in Gi.

From that moment on, I was hooked.

TPC has shown me my limits, both physically and mentally, and how to overcome them.

Every training session is an opportunity to grow, and every competition is a chance to test myself at the highest level.

The journey has been incredible, and I’m more driven than ever to keep improving and competing.

I’m grateful for the people who have supported me along the way, my coaches, teammates, my family and most importantly my wife.

This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see how far Texas Punishment Crew will take me!
